The underlying goal of the TCC is to increase the knowledge of the birdlife of Texas statewide by encouraging birding in more places in Texas. Unless the knowledge we gain doing this goes somewhere then its all for naught. [[eBird]] is the best way to do this by recording your birding in [[eBird]]. The the TCC pages on how to get your records into [[eBird]].

Welcome to the Texas Century Club

The Texas Century Club (TCC) is a friendly competition among birders to trying to identify 100 species of birds in 100 of the 254 counties in the state of Texas. The goal is to reach the 100 x 100 county mark.
