Parking areas at both the North and South ends

Access

Open Sunrise to Sunset. No Fee

Birding

The tract combines both active and fallow rice fields and a 0.75 mile trail along wooded East Bay Bayou. Spring and Fall tract is good for migrant songbirds and shorebirds. Winter rice fields can hold significant waterfowl.

Shoveler Pond Loop

2.5 mile loop around a shallow impoundment, driving access only
